I woke Wednesday morning and hopped into the shower…Shampooed up my hair when the hot water stopped…..After a very cold rinse I checked out the tank and found a drip on the burner…I called Keep Heating & Cooling Inc. around 11:30 am. AC COMPANY GIVES ‘COOL’ DIAGNOSIS
At the beginning of our heat wave in Erie; our air conditioning system decided it had been overworked. On Sept. 4, a Friday, a technician from Keep Heating & Cooling Inc. came out, ran some tests and delivered the bad news that a new unit was needed. Unfortunately, it was late in the day and a holiday weekend, which meant that the new unit couldn’t be ordered until Tuesday. So, along with the horrible heat ahead for the weekend and the several-thousand-dollar sticker shock, we sweated over it, needless to say. Last Tuesday, I called to confirm that the unit was, indeed ordered and would be put in on Wednesday (just when it was beginning to cool down of course). To my surprise, owner Jeff Keep said he wanted to take a look at it himself, to check the compressor and serial number again. Within two hours, I received a call back stating that Keep would still be out Wednesday and that we didn’t need a new unit, but would be able to repair the existing air conditioning system. This saved us time, lost work hours, and a huge amount of money. Thank you, Jeff Keep, and our service technician, Dan No.1, for rechecking the initial diagnosis, realizing that we didn’t need to spend thousands of dollars on a new air conditioner, and above all running a reputable business. My husband and I have worked with this company for years with furnace safety checks, putting in gas lines, and of course, air conditioning. I would highly recommend this company to family and friends.

“KEEP” UP THE A+++ SERVICE!!!
Since we bought our house some fifteen years ago, we tried a couple HVAC contractors and were VERY unhappy with the service. We gave Keep a call and struck gold. Their techs are knowledgeable, professional, and do not hard sell you anything. The service contracts are affordable and anyone we have ever dealt with at Keep has been super! Recently, we had to replace our central AC, and in spite of a torrential downpour, it was installed and up and running in no time, in a very friendly manner in much less than ideal conditions. After the install, our questions were answered by none other than the owner, Jeff Keep himself. JEREMY DESERVES A RAISE!!!!!!!

I would just like to say thank you for the great service. Two weeks ago, I called to check the price on a setback digital thermostat. Deb was very nice and helpful. Unlike other places I called, she was up front with the price and did not give me an hourly rate fee. She also said they could schedule a furnace check and clean at the same time. Other places I called wanted two separate appointments so they could charge me two hourly rates for doing two separate procedures. I also asked Deb about the large print thermostats and she took her time to explain to me how large the ones that you sell are and how they work. She then said if I needed it larger, you could check into it for me. I think what sold me on Keep were two things: you set a price for the thermostat, and you let me schedule the furnace check and clean/thermostat appointment at the same time. But what really topped the cake was getting it put in the next day by Jeremy the pro because someone cancelled. That is what I call service. Jeremy came out and installed a set back thermostat and did a furnace clean. He was very professional and knowledgeable of what he was doing. I was surprised by his age that he knew so much about furnaces. He also sold me on the Electrostatic filter. I think he deserves a raise!!!!!!! I will recommend Keep to all my clients (I am a social worker for the blind), and I will call you in the spring to do an AC check and clean. I will even pay since you no longer offer the free furnace and AC check if you emailed the reason why you chose to Keep.
